A Home for Healing and Hope

At Vanguard House, we believe in providing every veteran, mother, and child a safe haven to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
Vanguard House has become a beacon for men and women who served our country, mothers working to provide a stable life for their children, and families who simply needed someone to believe in them again. We invite you to be part of the story God is writing here.

We can help residents identify available resources, establish personal goals, and determine practical next steps.

Get Involved

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." — Galatians 6:9 Vanguard House is a ministry sustained by the generosity, time, and prayers of people like you. There are many ways to join us in this work.

Volunteer

Share your time and talents by mentoring a resident, leading a life-skills workshop, helping with home repairs and upkeep, organizing a donation drive, or simply sharing a meal and a listening ear with our residents. No skill is too small when it's offered in love.

Donate

Your financial gifts directly fund housing, meals, counseling, and life-changing programs for veterans, women, and children in crisis. One-time and recurring gifts are both a tremendous blessing. Every dollar given is an act of worship poured out for someone in need.

Give In-Kind

We gladly accept donations of non-perishable food, new or gently used clothing, hygiene products, household goods, and furniture for residents transitioning into their own homes.

Partner With Us

Is your church, business, or civic group looking for a mission field close to home? We welcome partnerships for sponsorships, group service projects, fundraising events, and awareness campaigns.

Pray

Perhaps the greatest gift you can give is prayer. Join our prayer team to intercede for our residents, staff, and the healing work God is doing at Vanguard House.

Sponsor a Room or a Family

Help fully furnish a resident's room or provide for a family's first month of essentials as they begin this new chapter. However God leads you to give — your time, your resources, or your prayers — know that it becomes part of a much bigger story of restoration in someone's life.
